L’arte come visione surreale di simboli, la mano con le dita a V di Vittoria fra due animali, il chiaro e lo scuro e la linea tratteggiata che viaggia al centro. Anch’essa fra il bianco e l’oscuro.

 

Apparentemente difficile, l’opera è una visione dell’inconsapevole o consapevole? Il bisogno di una scelta di vita, di immagini che nascondano e nello stesso tempo rivelino un messaggio sotteso dell’autore.

 

Se i riferimenti al surrealismo possono apparire chiari, l’interpretazione di Magnelli è quanto mai personale: i colori laccati e freddi, le forme anche paurose degli animali, la mano vincitrice sfolgorante sullo sfondo chiaro, dicono dramma. Lotta. Dolore.

Ma anche luce conquistata e raggiunta.

Apparently difficult, is the work a vision of the unconscious or aware? The need for a life choice, for images that hide and at the same time reveal an underlying message of the author.

If the references to surrealism may seem clear, Magnelli's interpretation is very personal: the lacquered and cold colors, the even frightening shapes of the animals, the dazzling winning hand on the light background, say drama. Struggle. Pain.

But also light conquered and achieved.
