L’opera ritrae Naga, semidio della tradizione induista, costituito da busto e testa di donna dotata di grande intelligenza e saggezza, e nella parte inferiore da un corpo di serpente, a rappresentare la connessione con le profondità oscure dell’ inconscio.

Sullo sfondo campeggia una banconota da 500 lire che, con il suo levarsi in alto, tinge l’atmosfera di colore oro a rappresentare il momento interpretativo coincidente tra i prodromi di una buia notte dell’anima o il sorgere di una nuova e feconda umanità.

Sarà il fruitore dell’opera a determinare gli eventi futuri, partecipandovi nel bene e nel male in funzione di ciò che alberga nel suo cuore.

The work portrays Naga, a demigod of Hindu tradition, consisting of a bust and head of a woman endowed with great intelligence and wisdom, and in the lower part by a snake body, to represent the connection with the dark depths of the unconscious.

In the background stands a 500 lire banknote that, with its rising upwards, dyes the atmosphere in gold to represent the interpretative moment coinciding between the premonitions of a dark night of the soul or the rise of a new and fruitful humanity.

It will be the user of the work who determines future events, participating in them for better or for worse depending on what is in his heart.
