L’attrice Brigitte Bardot, simbolo del successo economico e del trionfo della bellezza sulla volgarità, viene raffigurata in questa opera ad indagare l’apparecchio fotografico che porta al collo, simboleggiante la consapevolezza umana in quanto strumento acritico di rilevamento della realtà.
Sullo sfondo, l’arco gotico rappresentato simbolicamente sulle banconote da 20 euro, pone in forte rilevanza la storicizzazione della cultura europea che ha in parte riesumato i confini del Sacro Romano Impero.
All’interno di esso, il logo della Rolex contribuisce a supportare l’idealizzazione del tempo che, come un leone ruggente, cerca di divorare l’identità spirituale di chi si lascia da esso corrompere.
Il potere della bellezza e del denaro non sono da considerarsi come strumenti di corruzione, ma come riflesso esterno; l’uno, della connessione con la propria anima, l’altro di una mente lucida capace di focalizzare sugli obiettivi che ci si prefigge.

In the background, the Gothic arch symbolically represented on the 20 euro banknote, places great emphasis on the historicization of European culture that has partly resurrected the borders of the Holy Roman Empire.
Within it, the Rolex logo helps to support the idealization of time that, like a roaring lion, tries to devour the spiritual identity of those who allow themselves to be corrupted by it.
The power of beauty and money are not to be considered as instruments of corruption, but as an external reflection; one, of the connection with one's soul, the other of a clear mind capable of focusing on the objectives one sets for oneself.
